§1

Thusly the Tabarna, Ḫattušili (III), [Great] King, King of Ḫatti, son of Muršili (II), Great King, King [of Ḫatti], grandson of Šuppiluliuma (I), Great King, King of Ḫatti, seed of Ḫattušili (I), King of the city Kuššar, Great King, Hero


§2

Mr. Kantuzzili, who was an ABUBITUM-official, [became hostile(?)], and I became hostile to him. Mr. Ura-Tarḫunta, son of Mr. Kantuzzili, supported My Sun, and I honored him. I freed him from šaḫḫan- and luzzi-obligations - (namely) from (service as?) a Lord of the Land, (service as?) a Lord of the Watchtower, a levy soldier, the uppa-obligation, wooden ŠÀ.KAL-objects, wooden BUBUTU-objects, grain, straw, racing horses, wooden karnaša-objects, wooden omen pieces?, firewood? of the heap, sheep, and tribute. May no one ap[proach] his doors for šaḫḫan- and luzzi-obligations!


§3

If [in the future] a son or a grandson of Mr. Ura-Tarḫunta sins against My Sun, let them investigate his sin! And if he is one fit for forgiving, or if he is one fit for killing, however the mind is at that time for his lord, the Sun Goddess [of Arinna] him [ . . .] They will take [away] his house [from] him, but may they not give it to another man or to another family line! If he has a son (or) a grandson, then may the house be for a son (or) a grandson of Ura-Tarḫunta! If he does not have a son or a grandson, then (if) he has a brother, [let them give it to him.(?)] May [the house] be for the seed of Ura-Tarḫunta! May [they] not give [it to another man(?)]!
